 About

The First Note

Appassionato started more than a decade ago as private piano teaching by Anna Damayanti. Anna had wide musical experience in Europe and Asia before moving to Australia. Appassionato will formally start running as a music academy from term 2 of 2015. It will provide classes in different instruments, in individual and group lessons.

Teach in harmony

It has always been an integral part of Anna's teaching philosophy that learning the piano is a means to acquire important life skills, in addition to musical skills. It is in this spirit that Appassionato Music Academy will continue the work started many years ago, to teach music beyond physical skills and examinations, and more towards the understanding and enjoyment of the essence of music, and life.

The Future Sounds Good

Performance is encouraged and highly valued in Appassionato Music Academy. Students take every opportunity to perform, either at school, at home, or in their community. Appassionato provides several performance opportunities throughout the year, and a big annual concert for all students.
